Dreaming of a REAL Get-away.....
I wonder if its actually alright to spend money on holidays. I haven't been on a real holiday for quite some time. The previous trips were mission trips to Thailand and those were quite tiring ones. (even though its still a holiday for me)

What does a Holiday means? (according to dictionary.com)

1. A day free from work that one may spend at leisure, especially a day on which custom or the law dictates a halting of general business activity to commemorate or celebrate a particular event.

2. A religious feast day; a holy day.
Hm.....Okie. I conclude, i am really looking for a get-a-way to enjoy, relax and play..nothing else.

What do i really want during my get-a-way?

1. To just not even think of work, responsibilities, ministries.

2. To sleep w/o alarm clock.

3. To play like anything i want.

4. To enjoy cultural sights.

5. To enjoy sceneries.

6. To travel as little as possible. (Means No Long bus rides)

7. To enjoy reading.

8. To enjoy companionship.

9. To be the dawn i actually am.

10. To get away from everything.

Option 01: Dreaming of Vietnam.
I actually really like countries like Thailand, vietnam etc. Deep down in me, I am a historical and cultural lover. I like to indulge in historical landmarks, sites, religious buildings and to be able to imagine to era and the stories behind the architectual designs. I kike Vietnam because of the Vietnam war and also, much heard of its political culture and history.

Back-packing to Vietnam would be sooo a dream come true! But, i am saving and studying next year and might not be able to go to Vietnam so soon.

Maybe in the end of 2010? (HAIZ)

Option 02: Tioman Island

Tioman island is one place for a getaway trip. I cannot go to places like Bali, Batam or Bintam..Bali is too spiritual and not worth the risk.. Batam, i gone once and its soooo boring. Bintam, i have gone once and its really nothing much. Tioman is next up for more reasonable prices and relaxation.
Option 03: The trip almost impossible: Turkey

When i was a young lass of 17 years old, I bought a air ticket to Turkey and plan a backpacking trip for 2 weeks with a conservative amount and yes, alone!!.. (How daring!) But, why am i richer at 17 years old than now?? (I also don't know..the older you get, more financial priorities and responsibilities and yes, expectations from everyone) Then, it got bombed...and I encountered God that very same season too which drove me back to the Lord. So, i didn't manage to go..

But the dream never left..
